Some sad and sudden news: on Sept 5th, wild birds will be closing its doors.
We are endlessly grateful to all the people who have been on this journey with us. To the musicians who poured their souls out from our stage; to the staff who kept this beautiful beast humming; and to all our guests, who flocked to our 2,000 square feet of hardwood floor… you have no idea what you mean to us. Your smiles and laughter and ecstatic movement turned this place into a home. You made our dream take flight.
Every day we opened our doors to you, and you in turn made every night a blessing. But on Monday, September 5th, we will be opening those doors for the last time.
And while this is undoubtedly sad news, this is not the end. We aren’t able to discuss the details at this time but please know that while it’s true that wild birds is a brick-and-mortar location, it is—more than that—an idea that will rise again, like the phoenix. We don’t know how yet, and we don’t know when, but we promise to update everyone, on Instagram, as we figure out our next migration.
Until then: We hope we can see you in the weeks to come. And even if we don’t: We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for nesting down with us at Dean and Classon. We love you. It was unforgettable.
