DJ LSJ (Love Sweet Jones) was born in Oakland, California, and moved to New York City’s, East Village at 8 months old when his parents divorced. While NYC was his home base, he spent his summers in Oakland and Los Angeles to visit his father and extended family. Having a Puerto Rican mother and African American father, he grew up with myriad cultural influences, which impacted his overall style and musical taste. His first interactions with music stemmed early on when his father introduced him to soul, funk, and jazz sensations such as Al Green, Al Jarreau, James Brown, and more.

Embraces every style and facet of DJing from mixing, scratching, beat juggling, and more. He will always prefer a pair of Technics 1200s when he rocks a crowd but understands it’s not about how good you scratch or mix, it’s about evoking different types of emotions and connecting with the crowd. As a New Yorker, DJ LSJ has had firsthand experience with reggae, hip-hop, salsa, and R&B, from attending freestyle battles and house parties, but he embraces all genres of music and loves to surprise his crowd with songs and genres they’ve never thought they’d be dancing to.

DJ LSJ, was never a stranger to the party scene. He was notorious for throwing the biggest parties during his high school days, even some were documented in the high school yearbook, and got his start DJing in the Lower East Side with his childhood friends. You can usually catch him in the LES, Williamsburg, or Bushwick. He’s played notorious venues around the city such as Elsewhere, Freehold, The Standard, Pianos, Kind Regards, Max Fish, The Commodore, Bunton’s World Famous, Ode to Babel, Lover’s Rock, and more.

Kareem Supreme:

Trinidadian born selector Kareem Supreme grew up immersed in Caribbean Soundsystem culture. Experiencing his first sound clash at the age of 8years old it was at that point his life changed and his love for music started to grow. Moving to New York at the age of 16 He meeting a neighborhood kid with a DJ system allowed him to develop his skill And craft. Being from the Caribbean where he have deep roots in Calypso,reggae, Soca and dancehall and going to high school and college in America where he now was exposed to Hip-hop,R&B ,House,Top 40, Salsa and Reggaetón giving him the catalog and musical IQ to become one of the most versatile DJs in New York City.

DJ Kareem supreme embraced every technique and style from Scratching ,Blending,Mixing, Beat juggling and sound engineering. Getting his start in some of New York’s most vibrant clubs such as Temptations, The Elks plaza , Seabreeze and Gravity gave him the notoriety and popularity to grow. Having a special ability to connect with his crowd being an MC also helps him to invoke emotion and create moments And experiences with music and sound.
