The husband and wife team known as Los Cielitos, or “the little skies,” consists of Yasser Tejeda, on guitar, and Jill Peacock on bass. They’re based in Brooklyn although Tejeda is originally from the Dominican Republic, and has developed his own distinctive, cross-generational brand of Afro-Dominican music. But with Los Cielitos, the focus shifts to the classic Latin American songs known as boleros.
