Curiosity String Quartet and Michael Bates Acrobat have teamed up to present a full set of music by and for Soviet dissident composer Dmitri Shostakovich, including a full performance of his Third String Quartet, followed by improvisational and jazz-inflected compositions inspired by Shostakovich’s work.
